Mass Effect 3..... is Almost Here.

Hey everybody! I know, I know.... it's been a while. This semester is killer. It really really is. Usually with my school schedule, the classes have a sort of cycle. There is an easy part where stuff is just getting assigned. Then it gradually builds and builds until when something big is due or there is a test. And I can handle this! And what has usually happened is that all my classes are kinda staggered where the cycles aren't all happening at the same time. Basically... I only have to go through stress out time with one class at a time. That's not the case this semester. Everything happens all at once. Last week I had THREE exams AND a screenplay due. It was mayhem.

ANYWAYS.... on to better and brighter things. MASS EFFECT 3!!!! Only a couple more weeks! And you can be sure I'll be talking about it in depth. I just keep getting more and more excited though with all the trailers and gameplay vids. Oh and the demo!

Speaking of the demo... It's pretty cool! I've actually only played the multiplayer part though. This is because I don't want to spoil any of the story for myself. I want it all to be fresh from the get-go. The multiplayer however, is REALLY fun! And this is just the demo version! I can't wait to see what it's like to it's full extent. I also am really looking forward to how it's incorporated into the single player story.

So yeah, that's all I have for now. Until next time!

SCHOOL! UGH!!

Wow! Ok so this semester is gonna be tough. Not so much in difficulty, but rather just the fact that it's keeping me busy and very tired. I'm only in the middle of my second week but it feels like I've been back at work for a month or two. But anyways, yeah... that's enough about school.

I've been crazy into Star Wars: The Old Republic. I can NOT get enough of that game. I haven't even been on my Xbox in... about a week. That's a very long time for me. I did get on to play a little bit of Battlefield 3 last Friday but only for about 2 rounds. Nothing against Battlefield though. It's awesome. The only thing with Battlefield is you really need a coordinated team in order to actually do well. If you just go in, lone wolf style, you will die A LOT. So I really only play when my squad mates are online.

In other news, I will probably going to my first game tournament this weekend. I mean first real one that's not just a casual 10 person tournament. I'll be competing in Mortal Kombat if I end of going. I'm thinking of maaaybe participating in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but I don't know. I don't expect to win at it, but I just don't want to get my ass handed to me terribly. With Mortal Kombat, I'm actually not too bad. I can stand a chance.

So that's whats up. Old Republic is amazing. If you are able to play it I definitely recommend it. So... great. But yeah.... that's all I got for now. Until next time.

Back to School.... Almost.

Well this past week has been tons o' fun. I'm being super sarcastic cuz I've been freaking sick. It suuuuucks. This is not how I wanted to spend my last few days of Christmas break at all. I have been getting to kick back and relax a bit. But with most of my friends having left to go back to their various colleges and me being sick... well yeah you get the picture.

There is one exciting bit of news though! Well for me anyways. I got Star Wars: The Old Republic! And man oh man.... I love it. I really do think it is a major contender for World of Warcraft. It does have it's various bugs, but considering how new it is, I think it's understandable. MMO's are probably the hardest games to really get out there. But Bioware really did it right in my opinion. Yeah it took them forever to release it, but I think that's a good thing. It let them really fine tune everything about it. That with the addition of all the beta testers and the whole early release thing really got them a head start on bug fixing before the actual release date.

I haven't gotten too far into it, mainly because I've been having to play it on my lap top which it barely runs on. But what I have played is great. I made a bounty hunter and... I had no idea Bounty Hunters were so versatile. They can be dps, tanks, or healers! The healer thing was what turned my head and made me go WHAAAA?! I've been having to run all the video settings on the lowest settings and the game still looks better then WoW on some if it's better settings. The combat is probably my favorite part. It may be tied with the whole conversation mechanics though. SO GOOOOOD! By the way, leave comments if you play also and maybe tell me what server you play on.

So yeah that's whats been going on for me. I'll be around doing stuff and good luck to everyone on their Spring semester! Later!

I'm still here! I swear!

Ok so yeah.... I've been super lazy. But I'm gonna make this blog part of my new year's resolution. At least once a week I'll be trying to post at least something to let you know what's the happy hap. There have been a whole bunch of new games that have come out and damn..... there are some good ones. I think to just get back on track, I'm gonna just tell you whether I liked them or not. OR rather.... just tell you which ones I got and based off that, every other game that came out I didn't really care for.

First off, Saints Row: The Third. OH MY GOSH what a great game. It's HILARIOUS and fun all at the same time. It's nothing hardcore which isn't necessarily back. It's a game that I can just kick back and have a good time with. It's not inducing rage moments like other certain games... (*Cough* Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 *cough*) I really recommend it.

Next.... probably goes without saying. SKYRIM!!! You've probably seen all of your Xbox Live/PSN buddies all playing it. It's so huge! Literally hundreds of hours of gameplay and it just looks beautiful. I really don't need to say anything else. I haven't come across anyone who disliked this game.

Third is Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. I reviewed the normal version a while ago. As I mentioned... it definitely gets me angry but man is it a good game. I feel they improved on a lot, particularly the X factor system. Still... there are some cheap characters. (Sentinel... >_>))

Also, Assassins Creed Revelations is really impressing me. Especially the multiplayer. I can't get enough of it. I really like how it is a totally different type of multiplayer then all those other shooter deathmatch modes that are in every other game. I haven't actually beaten the story yet, but so far it's great, and I love the progression of the assassins you recruit. You really feel like your building a brotherhood from the ground up.

So yeah, I guess that's all for now. Hopefully I'll be getting The Old Republic and if so, I'll most definitely be doing a review on that. It just looks so good and I really need a change up from WoW. SO yeah..... until next time! Peace out!
